Good point but while being fully independent is a big benefit to the developer it has little impact on the customer. I am a bit torn between Accu-Sim 2 and Accu-Sim II, leaning towards Accu-Sim 2.0 if not for anything else but the practicality of having a decimal for future expansion and features.

I suppose there is an opportunity to state the features along with this.

Having a lot of experience with SEO due to day job, Arabic numerals are definitely the way to go over Roman numerals, which bring up all sorts of issues, so 2 or 2.0 > II.

As I detailed in my long post earlier, names are great, but careful consideration needs to be made. What, then, happens when Accu-Sim III comes? Is it still powered by Merlin? Or will that change at some point too? Will it be powered by Pratt & Whitney? Or by Continental? Or by Duracell?

I think the elegance and simplicity of 2 or 2.0 or II is the ticket. A tagline/name is good, and I love the ring of "Powered by Merlin", so I'm not opposed to it. Just think of what might come next, down the line.

Corny... yes, very much on purpose, also but practical - no need to explain too much when told that this and that has been brought up to the latest Accu-Sim 2.X standard.

Besides, why would a new and great, beyond-anything-thus-far thing need to be powered by another...thing?
