I was kinda hoping A2A would have something for the 40th anniversary, at least an update. Oh well, maybe for the 50th. (See, I can tell a joke too)

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche MSFS Cockpit Screenshots
I'm kinda hoping that coding for X-Plane isn't holding back the release for MSFS. With so many planes released for the new sim from others, something is holding back the Comanche and it can't just be the aircraft itself. If A2A was more widely known this would be an ongoing joke on the late-night talk shows.
Take care, Brett

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche MSFS Cockpit Screenshots
If A2A is really trying to keep most of the flight model completely separate from the sim, then I can certainly understand it taking this long. Other companies are simply using what MSFS gives them in terms of the base flight model.jeepinforfun wrote: ↑12 Nov 2022, 15:20 I'm kinda hoping that coding for X-Plane isn't holding back the release for MSFS. It's become one of those 4-letter words your mom used to wash your mouth out with soap for using.

I am not interested about the Comanche at all, we have, even not the same quality to many GA addons on MSFS right now in my opinion.
I hope they will still work on their Captain of the Ship products, I would love to see a Lockheed Constellation, Boeing 707, De Havilland Comet or Sud-Aviation Caravelle

6 years since the last COTS and 4 years since the release of the last new aircraft for us non-military consumers. At this point, the comanche would be nice just to see that A2A is still alive and well.Yoshimura wrote: ↑25 Nov 2022, 08:52 I am not interested about the Comanche at all, we have, even not the same quality to many GA addons on MSFS right now in my opinion.

Re: Accu-Sim Comanche MSFS Cockpit Screenshots
The problem is that many planes that A2A did for previous sims have already been released for MSFS by other makers.
Of course, these addons are nowhere near the quality of an Accusim bird. Unfortunately, that didn't stop the "casual" MSFS users to buy them. And because of this, these same users probably won't buy the "same" plane again once A2A releases their version of it.
This means that if A2A would release for example a Mustang or a Connie today, only a tiny portion of the MSFS users (us, those who "know" what A2A is about) would buy it. The potential sales volume would be way too small.
On the opposite, If they would release an Accusim Commanche, the sales would be higher because there is no other Commanche available yet for MSFS.
Given the fact that the Spitfire, the P40, the P51, the Connie and the T-6 have all already been released for MSFS, I can hardly imagine A2A having any motivation to invest time in developing these planes.
I wish they had released a non-Accusim version of these birds at first, before other makers provided them, to "capture" the market so to say.
