Much success tonight!!! All of my P3Dv5.3 A2A GA aircraft now have functioning bezel buttons in all of my VC cockpits. I was mostly stumped by the GTN 650 units in the Mustang and T-6 but here's what fixed everything for me:

1. Download the dropbox file here and follow the instructions how to install.
2. Copy the text for F1VC.xml version 2.05 found here to edit the 2.04 version that is in the rxpGTN folder.
3. In your aircraft's VC: hold shift, point your mouse at the top of the 3D GTN panel and click Right Mouse to open the GTN's settings menu. Ensure that "Use Default GPS Commands" is enabled.

The last remaining problem to solve is with my dual 750/650 stack in the C182. The Home key on either 3D unit will only operate the 650's screen.

Well done!!!

I screwed with the instructions in the Avsim forum a while ago and never did get it working in the Mustang, so decided I didn't need them that badly, but your success and concise explanation gives me a bit of motivation to take another shot at it. It would be nice to get them working, but I'm good either way because the GTN is such a great nav package!

Cheers,

Thanks for the update. I may try to fiddle with it using your advice this week. Cheers.

If only installing one or the other I’d go with the 650 as for some reason, with the wealth of information available on the 750’s large display, there is no ETE to next waypoint displayed....

Strange, on the Flight1 750, the display can be configured and ETE displayed.

I know...now..alioth mentioned that earlier in this thread and the RXP can be configured just as easily. For me it was an RTFM thing...

In my Bonanza under P3D 4.5 I always eventually get CTDs using GTN 750. According to event log the GTN 750 trainer conflicts with the AMD atioglxx.dll in system 32 (have Radeon RX580 8 gig). These CTDs only happen in A2A Bonanza installation. I also run GTN 750 in
Alabeo C421 Golden Eagle
Carenado PA31 Navajo
Flysimware Lear 35 (twin 750)
Carenado PC12
Freeware Milton Shupe Shrike 500
In FSX I also have the Commanche 250 running GTN 750. Easier for me to control left hand mousing. Never a CTD from RXP in FSX, just the usual out of memory issues.
