New Aircraft Suggestion

Post by GaryRR »

I know A2A specializes in classic piston GA aircraft and multi engine propliners but here is one no developer has done.
For A2A's first venture into turbines how about the Lockheed Jetstar II. It is a very significant aircraft as basically the first "corperate" jet and saw military use also. The era of the aircraft is correct and I think it would be a significant addon for 64 bit P3D and MSFS 2020 that would put other publishers back on their heels. I can imagine grabbing four jet handles on my HCB and going halfway across America for an expensive cheeseburger.
I would like all you guys to comment in and share your thoughts. This would be a different offering than anyone else's. I would pay 100 usd or more for this.
Thoughts Please?

Although I'd love to get my hands on a Jetstar, especially one by A2A, I think A2A will only make an aircraft if they can literally get their hands on the real thing... I mean, I don't know, but given the amount of work it takes A2A to make their aircraft, I can only assume they have access to a real one.

Did they have access to a Strat, Connie, or 17? There are only like 4 airworthy Fortresses and two Connie's in the world. I'm sure there are more Jetstar flying.

That’s a good point that I didn’t think of-

After getting the Carenado Cessna 337 for MSFS, it got me to thinking, ~this is the twin that A2A should make.

I'd understood that they had. Lack of opportunity to test was one of the reasons why they hadn't made a Lanc yet I'd thought.

Plus, Lewis has never suggested it.

Plane-tagenet.

As for new aircraft ideas, I'd take a flying rock if A2A would get it out pronto for MSFS.

Lancaster were cool bombers and we would love to see an A2A Lancaster especially the guys on east side of the Pond seeing as A2A has done the Fortress already from the American cousins. BUT,

The Lockheed Jetstar enjoyed multi-national use in it's day, has never been done by a study level developer for flight simulation, has aviation historical value as the first business jet, and A2A has the raw talent to do it up just right with or without a flying Jetstar to study. Done for P3D 4, 5xxxx and for MSFS it would be a distinguished product for A2A that no other developer has or has done. It would be unique.

I'm flying the Carenado Cessna 337 in Prepar3D v5.3+ and it's flying just fine!

P-26, another on of my favorite airplanes. There's actually a flying example at fantasy of flight down in Florida. A P-26 would drive the repainters crazy.
Ryzen 7 5800X3D liquid cooled, OC to 4.5 ghz, Radeon XFX 6900XT Black edition, 2 tb M2 drive, 32 gb ddr4 ram, Asus Hero Crosshair VIII mother board, and some other stuff I forget exactly what.

Any new aircraft at this point would be welcome.
