My dad owned quite a few airplanes during his lifetime including a Navion,Bonanza and a Cherokee 140. The Cherokee was not his favorite airplane. The Chevy of GA aircraft. :lol:

Some good time ago, when I was working with aspects of various PA-28 models and studied the line in detail, I indeed ended up wondering about what was the point of the 140 model. I remember various people answering my questions, but unfortunately, none of the answers. :)
