Dave Hadfield's youtube channel, so worth the time!

Post by MarcE »

Cheers everyone,

some of you may possibly know Dave Hadfield's youtube channel but I still would like to point it out to you. He shares many wonderfully made videos of him flying all kind of our beloved warbirds, P-51, P-40, Spitfire, AT-6, etc etc. I stumbled across him by accident and surprise when I was zapping through YT drinking my morning coffee, what a marvellous way to start the day :D

The videos are long, beautifully recorded and edited with voice over, expplaining a lot about the airplanes, sometimes covered with great and I belive self-composed music.

Absolutely worth to get lost =)

Have fun and leave him a few likes and nice comments =)

absolutely.. airstream driven slats and mechanically connected flaps... holding the tail up on landing to prevent accidental takeoffs when the flaps drop out... that's so cool :D

‘there is not enough elevator authority at landing, so the trim must be used’
