F2 2020 and A2A Simulations

Post by Neon »

Flight Sim 2020 is releasing on August 16th this year, so I'm wondering what plans A2A Simulations
has, if any for aircraft for this amazing sim. Any chance of a remake of the B377? Or maybe venture
into new fields, like a Diamond D62? Any plans at all?

Nice to read they are currently even helping the US Airforce with aircraft simulation! But i just want my Comanche show up in the new FSX. :P And that thread is over a year old now, would be nice to see how far they are now.

Just read the info on the main site. I didn't realise A2A had also made a UH-702 simulation for the military. Would love to try that. I imagine the military sims won't be available for a public audience though.

Looking forward to the Aerostar.

Not sure I follow the news thread and update is just a few days old and the Comanche was released for FSX in 2015.

cheers,

I just hope the Bonanza is next. It's absolutely the only reason why i'll miss P3D. The Piper was nice, but a bit low and slow. The Comanche had nice power, but i could never quite warm up to the dash and the autopilot. But the Bonanza was just right. I really hope they bring it over to MSFS right after the Aerostar.

I meant the Comanche coming to the new Flight Simulator, not FSX.

I've read there might be (limited) backwards compatibility for FSX addons, so maybe the A2A FSX planes can work?
If that's the case, could we have a downgrade/upgrade option from P3D purchases to FSX?

I'd doubt a 32-bit platform would have much compatibility with a 64-bit when it comes to accu-sim.

There could be hope with the P3D V4/5 installers but it's probably not gonna work which is a shame as I'd love to take my P 51 and soon to be back B 17 for a flight in the new sim.

Nope, the data structure of MSF is completely different. Remember, it's basically an XBox application.

Didn't they say something about a legacy mode which would add limited compatibility? I can't find anything official about that so I don't know if it's true but I suppose it'd only be for very basic addons.

WOW! I love the Aerostar, and it will probably be (for now) the only study A/C for FS2020. I would really love to see the P-51 ported over.

Would be so cool an update of how´s going development of planes, to make us easier the waiting of Aerostar600 and future planes.

Please take care of us :a2awhite:
