B-17 Taxi Ability II

Post by Cherokeepilot19 »

A while ago, i posted about how the B-17 IRL can taxi easily with its tail wheel. In FS9, the plane barley turns and a lot of differential thrusting is needed. I think SD Research posted a minor fix to better the ability, and said "in FSX, this problem will be fixed". I was wonder now that fsx is out, can something be done to fix contact points, as it is more complex. And by the way, i imported all the gauges for the B-17 and it works great, especially when i failed a landing gear.

-I reposted this in the lounge as no one seemed to look at it in the other section...

Thanks, Joe

I don't know about contact points but I really enjoy taxi the B-17 in FSX. I have a 4 engine quadrant and find I can easely taxi the aircraft around with 2 engines turned off. I use almost no breaks at all and turn on engine power alone.
