However, if you already own Accu-Sim aircraft for P3Dv4 and you're keen to try them in the new version (which can easily be installed alongside v4) for the most part they should work as expected. You can simply copy and paste them into the add-ons folder for P3Dv5 or—if you wish to save disk space—you can alias to the existing files in the P3Dv4 add-ons folder. We'll provide a bit more info on this upon release.
Thank you Nick. Would you please provide such an alias file for the A2A Cub?

That's not something we would provide, but for users that want to tweak will be able to do this for there specific systems the same they probably do for there current P3D installations.

thanks,

Would Lewis or an experienced user provide a template of such an alias file which I could easily adapt to my specific system, please?

As mentioned, we'll provide more info on how to alias to your existing P3Dv4 add-ons files once P3Dv5 has been released. This will likely take the form of a generic "add-on.xml" file which existing P3Dv4 customers can place in their "Prepar3D v5 Add-ons" folder. The same file will work for the whole Accu-Sim fleet for P3Dv4.

Thanks,
Nick

Hi Eric.
He was asking where is the A2A connie1049 it does not exist , the L-049 is what A2A made , and is in the P3Dv4 / FSX shops.
Justflight do an Aeroplane heaven A/B/C pack of the connie covering more variants , but it looks pretty bad , its also dated now .

Hello guys,

Just a note to let you know I've updated the first post of this thread with some more info. This is to help our existing P3Dv4 customers use their Accu-Sim aircraft in P3Dv5 if they're keen to try them in the new sim. :)

Cheers,
Nick
