Thanks for the P-40!

The free P-40 is very generous of you all - many thanks! I picked up the Texan while I was in the shop as a thanks back!

I agree fully! It is incredibly generous of you all to do this for the community! :D

Whilst other companies are offering discounts (which is a nice gesture) a reduction in price still seems slightly self serving - like taking advantage of this situation to boost sales a bit.

I know everyone is worried now about the future and some (like my family) are in isolation and have spent all their cash on the inflated prices for essential supplies. (We have two weeks before we run out of essentials for my disabled son.)

But for A2A to give me a beautiful free gift out of a sense of community spirit shows a good-heartedness rare to see in a business (with serious worries of their own, no doubt) in this time of crisis.

A truly heartfelt Thank You A2A and Team!

I would also like to say thank you for the P-40. I had this wonderful addon in FSX but when I moved over to P3D I had to pick and choose from a multitude of developers addons to repurchase for that platform. Unfortunately the P-40 was one of the victims of the move. Such a pleasure to have her back in my hanger.

Many thanks for this gift. A nice uplifting gesture in these worrying times.

Everyone stay safe and look after your loved ones.

I am far from being a frequent poster,
But a HUGE thank you is in order.
I am currently stuck at home like many people and this gesture is REALLY appreciated. Not only for the P40 in itself, but also for the feeling that this generosity can make.
A2A team, you really are the best.

Take care of yourselves and families.

Glad you peoples like it, hope you all use some of the time we all have to learn some of the P-40. Its one of those quirky little aircraft, very different to most you will have flown. Easy to fly hard to master kinda arrangement. Get your butts on discord if you wanna join in some of the relaxed Multiplayer fun, bumps, bounces and all out crashes nigh on guaranteed

And Adam, those are some beautiful shots!

cheers,

A pleasure!!! I find the P-40 easier to fly than either the T-6, Spitfire or Mustang - the latter two being very "squirrely" on take off, while the T-6 requires extremely careful ground handling. However - I've written off too many P-40s to confidently saw I've mastered it

I love the startup procedure of the P-40 and that hydraulics system is a real hoot!

We're lucky to have a few flying P-40's here in NZ and they always put on a good show. It has an appeal all of its own - and looks like a genuine warbird.
