Hi.
You need to know the air nav rules and regulations , and take exams and pass them , i suggest you get your pilots P1/P2 on vatsim first , it is easier to get these , and will give you some insight into what a controller needs to know , Vatsims forum is the place to start , you also need to install some programs , and know how to use them , there is also a controller grading system that only grants you certain aspecs of controlling airspace on the lower levels of controller grading , i think the first controller step , you only manage ground delivery.
