With an Accu-Sim Lancaster I would actually consider going to MSFS2020

Re: Your choice for 1st A2A plane in MSFS2020
I understand A2A is probably more interested in releasing a GA aircraft for MSFS than a warbird. Greater sales volumes in sight.
That would be a bit sad for me though, as I was really hoping we would finally see some "alive" engines in MSFS, instead of all these GA planes. I miss the "hard to handle" engines in MSFS...
Concerning warbirds, of course, as much as I love the Spitfire, that one would probably not be the best choice right now, given the fact that two of them are already hitting the MSFS market.
However, the Mustang would fit quite well... or the B-17 of course.

Re: Your choice for 1st A2A plane in MSFS2020
So i thought i'd put together a ranking based on this thread. Mind you, considering i was dealing with normal text, this is probably not completely accurate, but it's close:
So looks like A2A have been listening to us
Just to be clear, this is counting how many times those planes have been mentioned. I tried to remove signatures and quotes as best as i could, and take into account different spellings. I also didn't keep track if the same person mentioned the same plane more than once. So... take this with a grain of salt.
Code: Select all
Comanche : 17
Cub : 11
Texan : 11
P-51 : 10
182 : 10
B-17 : 10
Spitfire : 8
Bonanza : 7
Cherokee : 6
P40 : 5
Lancaster : 5
172 : 3
Connie : 2

Interesting stats, thank you. Happy to see the Comanche doing well, thought the Bonanza would be higher than just the middle. Not that you can really go wrong, tho.

Nice list, specially because my favorite A2A plane is at the top!cristi.neagu wrote: ↑24 Mar 2021, 11:26 So i thought i'd put together a ranking based on this thread. Mind you, considering i was dealing with normal text, this is probably not completely accurate, but it's close:

I've been out of the loop for a while so might I ask what you mean by 'looks like A2A have been listening to us'...? Are they perhaps working on the Comanche...?!

That is what i was alluding to, yes And while in my mind i choose to interpret Scott's message as if the Comanche will be out next week (i'm a dreamer, what can i say?), i have no doubt we have quite a wait ahead of us. Asobo have been making progress on their side to enable complex addons from A2A and PMDG, but they're not there quite yet as far as i understand. Still, the wait is worth it, considering it will end in a Comanche.tup61 wrote: ↑25 Mar 2021, 08:02 I've been out of the loop for a while so might I ask what you mean by 'looks like A2A have been listening to us'...? My first choice would have been P51, but Comanche is very nice too.
Re: Your choice for 1st A2A plane in MSFS2020
Cessna 182 and a twin engine like Baron 58 or so.
Re: Your choice for 1st A2A plane in MSFS2020
I would like to see the Douglas DC-3
