Are you an airline captain with PMDG products? A GA or Warbird pilot with A2A simulations products? A corporate pilot with Carenado products? Do you like scenery creation, repainting or even designing your own models?
I'm interested in hearing what you all are interested in! I myself love the A2A Civilian Mustang and A2A's new Piper 250 Comanche! I even dabble a little bit in airport design and creating fictional airparks! I turned FL60 into my own private airpark!
Thanks.
And one off topic question.
I used the search function and even google on this matter. Until now I have been playing on jackpotcity online casino and I recently learned about pen %. The live dealers cut off far too much from the deck, more than 2 decks at least (its a 6 or 8 deck shoe). I think it's somewhere close to 60 % penetration.
The site I found via google https://www.betchan.com/ that is supposed to have good pen % is betvictor (not sure if its still the case). do you guys know of any other good penetration percentage online casinos (say 67% to 80%)?

Anaxag,
I am a GA as well as a warbird flier (Comanche..., Me 109, Spitfire, Mustang). That means, I need the best scenery possible because I am flying at treetop level. Thus I am on the lookout for new, detailed sceneries all the time.
I found (among others!):
www.simmershome.de
Reiner develops Malta as as complete scenery, very detailed, very painstakingly. I highly recommend his work. His website has an English version.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Main interest is and has been GA flying. It's simple, realistic in a way you could really do it in real life, realistic in a way that developers like a2a have access to GA planes, realistic in a way that their flight model is not hardest to do. But also GA flying is relaxing and interesting too.
But sometimes (nowadays quite often actually) i've switched to DCS and doing combat missions in their super excellent F/A-18 Hornet, or do aerobatics with other planes, like L-39 etc, i think DCS is much more suitable in aerobatic flying than FSX is.
I'd really love a new GA simulator platform and planes to give GA flying a boost. I'm still waiting hyper realistic C-152 from A2A ) (preferably for a new sim like FS2020!)

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Hi.
I used to do repaints in FS9 not done any for FSX as my paint program cannot handle FSX/P3D , due to not enough memory in the program workspace.
Used to fly GA/PMDG/MJC/A2A for a VA , but now like flying Warbirds mainly A2A with the 91 bombardment group.
regards alan.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Hi Folks,
GA with A2A for the most part as that's what I do in the RW - it's certainly nice to keep your head in the game and A2A is unsurpassed in this category... I do spend a great deal of time with the Flysimware Lear 35A as well - my old CFI used to fly for AirNet and I had the opportunity to get up close and personal with the cockpit of his Lear (on the ground) - so I'm a huge fan of "Starcheck"... Seriously - anyone else in the market for a bizjet - please - just step away from the Carenado products and give this bird a hard look - 3 years of continual updates by the developer and they just released a massive free upgrade this week with a new model - new PBR textures - and new sounds - she's one of my all time favorites and the only bizjet I fly...
Regards,
Scott

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
I do both GAs and airliners, but what is common is that I usually fly to or from some rural destinations. I kind of think that's partly what the airplanes are for: to get into and out of the places where it would be very inconvenient to get by other means. Particularly in Alaska, there are some airliner-grade runways in rather scenic (and sometimes challenging) places - and even more scenic, GA-grade places within a reasonable flying distance. So, you can kind of do the entire journey.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Hi everybody,
I alternate flying between the PMDG 777 and GA (A2A C172 or Cherokee). I stopped buying crap GA addon aircrafts because compared to A2A I always have regret or deception. For helicopters, from time to time, I'm flying the DCS Huey.
Today, there is Deadstick - Bush Flight Simulator, that shoud go Early Access before the end of the year I believe.

Me too I would like to see more dedicated flightsims. Many ears ago Aerosoft had project: a sim dedicated to airliners exclusively. But it was abandoned.Alfredson007 wrote: ↑15 Aug 2019, 04:59 I'd really love a new GA simulator platform and planes to give GA flying a boost.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
I have switched back in forth over the many years of simming. For the last couple of years, flew the Q400 and PMDG 737. Then I saw a Youtube video on A2A C 182, and decided to get my A2A aircraft out of the hangar and start flying them again. My two favorites are the Comanche and the C 182. My Orbx FTX regions look so much better at 4-7000 feet than at FL 250. The VA I fly for now allows GA aircraft, so that is a big plus. ( flyvirtual.net )

Warbirds mainly. Accu-simed of course. With the occasional sortie in the Bonanza, which is just unstable enough to keep me interested. Not at all interested in tubeliners.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Formation aerobatics on DCS. P3D isn't really good enough to fly nice and close. Although it doesn't result in a heart stopping bang if you do touch.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
I fly my A2A Comanche, Bonanza, P-40, Spitfire, and Civ P-51. Usually I fly to or from my home field, Arlington Airport (KAWO) to somewhere, either for landing practice, or an actual cross-country flight. The only non-A2A aircraft that I fly is my Manfred Jahn C-47 v 3.14 (with Accu-feel). The main reason I fly that is because I want to keep active in DC-3 Airways, and because Ernie the copilot and Nancy the stewardess are classic! Oh yeah - I have the A2A Connie, but don't fly it that much, due to the fact that it's not as fun as my other airplanes. I really would like it, however, if DC-3 Airways would let me accrue official flight hours in the Connie, but they only allow time accrual in Douglas DC-2, DC-3/C-47, and DC-4/C-54 aircraft. I plan to fly my C-47, in Plane Saver C-FDTD livery, in the upcoming England-to-Australia Air Race https://bluegrassairlines.com/operation ... index.html
Oh yeah: I am a STUDENT of AVIATION, hence the Academic P3D. No entertainment whatsoever! That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Over 9 of the past 10 years, I logged 4300 hours for WestWind Virtual Airlines in everything from Cubs to 747s but my interest had waned over the last couple of years to the extent that I'd not flown at all for over a year. I have recently had my interest in flight simming renewed by A2A after stumbling across the T-6 a few months ago. Now I cannot get myself out of the T-6 and Civilian Mustang and am now thinking about the best way to upgrade my sim package going forward.
Since March I've done a bunch of long cross countries in both airplanes and I have also spent considerably more time in the circuit and doing airwork in these two than I have with all the other airplanes I've flown over the years combined. The feeling of flying these two airplanes the way they were intended to be flown is the most realistic and rewarding FS experience I've ever had, by a considerable margin! They are both as honest as the day is long...and they will both hurt you if you're not paying attention!
So that's it for me...mostly VFR cross countries and exploring my new adopted sim home on the Olympic Peninsula. I actually dropped by KAWO on the way home the other day but must have missed you, Paughco
Going forward, the one thing I know beyond a shadow of a doubt is that if A2A didn't build it, I ain't flyin' it!!

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
Depends how much time I have. Mostly A2A GA fleet in p3d but also like the majestic dash 8 and aerosoft airbus professional. Dreamfoil bell 407 in x plane along with airfoil labs C172 and rep for default c172sp for New York City scenery since x plane runs better on my system. And just got into dcs world with the Huey so trying to learn that. Definitely prefer hand flying over pushing autopilot buttons and programming fmcs.

Re: What is your style of flight simming?
About 7 months ago I purchased Orbx FTX regions, Germany North and South. I had all the Orbx FTX USA regions and the UK, Scotland and Norway, but was surprised that Germany turned my P3D into a slide show. I was flying the PMDG 737 and Q400 at the time. Now that I am flying A2A Comanche and C 182 again, I decided to reinstall both Germany sceneries. Getting a solid 30 FPS and it looks gorgeous out the windscreen at FL70.

That is intriguing and could possibly be the only thing that could get me out of an A2A airplane for now! So, about that A2A in DCS thing...when is that happening again??
Hahaha!!
