Maybe adapting for XP11 since they already have a Spit in the works for it. I'd much prefer they develop for MSFS 2020 down the road if possible, though I'm not sure my system will be able to handle it. I tried the XP11 demo again recently after upgrading my GPU. Still not a fan, won't be going there.

Just saw the - by now quite old - news that the J-3 gets a P3Dv4 treatment and a general overhaul.

That's superb! The J-3 was by far the coolest plane A2A delivered - my humble opinion. Heidi was cool back then in the FSX days.

Would have loved to see a PA-18 over a J-3 back then and still today, but well, nevertheless I'm so looking forward of spinning the J-3s prop again and take it out for a flight.

Based on history with this, don't hold your breath lol ;-)

Is the Cub still in active development anyway?? A that long beta for that few „behind the panel“ systems is quite unusual, even for very accurate A2A.. a little more info beside the livery postings of Cessnas and Bonanzas would really be great  I certainly miss that little yellow sparrow.. so much scenery for low and slow daisy picking..

Great to hear this news! I was disappointed that I couldn't "fly" the Cub when I switched to P3D...

Well, it's old news now... I am happy that the Cub will become available for P3D v4.5 -- hopefully sooner than later!

We have a long time to hear news for the Cub. Any chance to get an update of its status or an estimate when we'll get it maybe?

Stephen Coonts on the Stearman trainer:
The Army got exactly what the generals wanted—the ultimate biplane with just enough engine to get it off the ground and force the student to learn to fly the wing, not the engine.

Coonts, Stephen. The Cannibal Queen: A Flight Into the Heart of America (Kindle Locations 1886-1887). Open Road Media. Kindle Edition and how to measure ring size.
I think that's the best way I've heard it described.

I agree with you about it being like a bicycle. Or maybe a small motorbike. Traveling by motorcycle is much different than by car: you are part of the environment, not separated from it.

I decided to continue the Cannibal Queen flight, starting from where I left off at Yates Center flying to Coffeeville. I did something I almost never do: took off in a thunderstorm. Ceilings were high enough that I could stay under the clouds, which is where the real nastiness is in Active Sky. Experienced severe turbulence (according to AS) but that's all part of the fun. :)

I still want the Cub, but I'm in less of a hurry now.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Any chance for an update before the year ends? It has been in beta since July...
