I'm die'n over here! The last A2A war bird converted to P3Dv4 was the P-40 at the beginning of November. I've been patiently waiting for their fantastic B-17 to be converted.
Are the P-47 and B-17 going to be converted anytime soon?
These are my two favorite A2A aircraft.

Not soon I am afraid but we hope they will come to market eventually and are working on best ways to do this.

That is, to say the least, a big disappointment.
Re: Rest of the War Birds for P3Dv4
If it means the P-47 can/will be brought up to the same level as the other warbirds (hangar, vibrations, etc.), then not that big a disappointment to me. It would be worth the wait. If I'm still alive, that is.SeattleSleeper wrote:That is, to say the least, a big disappointment.

I'm sure someone asked this somewhere, but should we also expect the Aircraft Factory line of products to get upgraded to P3Dv4 ?Lewis - A2A wrote:Not soon I am afraid but we hope they will come to market eventually and are working on best ways to do this.

They work fine in P3DV4 as do most non Accu sim airplanesMarvin-E34 wrote:I'm sure someone asked this somewhere, but should we also expect the Aircraft Factory line of products to get upgraded to P3Dv4 ?Lewis - A2A wrote:Not soon I am afraid but we hope they will come to market eventually and are working on best ways to do this.

Re: Rest of the War Birds for P3Dv4
Both the P-47 and B-17 have optional Accusim, and this is what I'm speaking of. Why would I want to fly these birds without Accusim?dvm wrote:They work fine in P3DV4 as do most non Accu sim airplanesMarvin-E34 wrote:I'm sure someone asked this somewhere, but should we also expect the Aircraft Factory line of products to get upgraded to P3Dv4 ?Lewis - A2A wrote:Not soon I am afraid but we hope they will come to market eventually and are working on best ways to do this.

The Aircraft Factory products are not compatible with Accusim.
Wings of Power products are.

Wait.........then in theory the Cub without the accu-sim expansion could be potentially possible in P3Dv4??? If so I may have a go at hacking this in myself, as I am really wanting that aircraft back.

One more time the aircraft factory airplanes work in P3DV4..Period !
Re: Rest of the War Birds for P3Dv4
and the P-47 and B-17 do too, without the accusim
jk7726

and as for using them without accusim, it's still better than not using them at all, since there are no B-17's or Razorbacks on the market that look as good as this (you can tell I'm a painter, right?). But then I wouldn't mind an update...
Haven't tried the cub yet

That's great ! I'll try thisdvm wrote:One more time the aircraft factory airplanes work in P3DV4..Period !
I feel like we should have a non-accusim version for of each accusim plane just to test some scenery or abuse the plane in some landing contest

Re: Rest of the War Birds for P3Dv4
Actually, I'm on the other side of the country. My father flew for the 91st BG in WWII. His A/C was B-17G #43-37913, "Seattle Sleeper" which was shot down on Nov. 26th, 1944. Dad was pulled from that mission to make way for a new CP to get some experience with an experienced combat crew. All crew survived, some POW and some evaded with the help of the Dutch underground. Dad went on to fly "Ramblin' Rebel" and B-17G, #43-38379 "Margie", for which Jan Kees did a super paint job (thanks JK!).JJB17463rdBombGroup wrote:Beautiful screenshots Jankees (jcblom).

Well I too have waited while A2A put the carrot in front of me, points, long awaited updates etc. Seems all my points will expire before B-17 or P-47 get updated. Great PR to your customers, and friendly forms, but why would I wait six mounts to a year.
Keep up the progresses, as slow a you can!
