Here is interesting and frightening accident. I am sure many of you are familiar with it. I was not and only heard of it because of a TV documentary on aircraft accidents. I won't comment as the documentation speaks for itself but I will speculate that anyone with any real world flying experience will likely just shake their heads. Commercial air travel is still the safest means of getting around statistically but as it is with all human endeavors "you pays your money and takes your chances". Yes I remember it well. I was flight simming back then too. It's a strange case indeed. To simply leave the power at idle until you stall. What were they doing? They were good at pushing the condition levers up, selecting flaps and other things. IDK, tragic mistake.
