Problem with GTN650/750 after GNS530/430 instal

Post by stingray »

Hello Gentlemen,

since a long time I fly all of my A2A Hangar with the GTN750/650, in FSX and now in Prepar3d V4.4. Absolut flawless. Cause I am a fan of the oldstyle Garmin 530 I purchased yesterday the GNS complet also from F1. After this install some A2A ( Bonanzam 182 and Comanche ) remains on GTN750 and the 172,the civil Mustang, the comanche and the connie got the 530/430 GNS.

From that point on neither the GTN or GNS couples with the NAV1 on the Aircraft. I can not follow any flightplans anymore!! I tryed everything,shift-3, switching from default to GTN GNS, nothing helps to get the NAV1 coupled to the gps switch. Totally frustrated I returned the GNS to F1 and asked for a Refund. But even after reinstalling the F1 that do not help. Curious I get a Prepar3d Version warning for the F1 updater due to loading the plane. But it must be the latest version. Before I installed that damned GNS everything was fine.

Any suggestions or help for me!

thanks in advance

Peter from Munich/Germany

So I’m assuming you opened the aircraft configuration tool and selected the gns 430/530 for the aircraft?
Have you checked your antivirus to make sure something wasn’t quarantined?

Hello,

mmh had not any issues with the anti virus yet. I will give it a try and install it again without antivirus. Anyway the GNS has been refunded so my only problem now is to get the GTN working again.

Peter
