Hi and welcome to the wonderful world of Accu-Sim. :D
When I learned about A2A they have just put out the C172. After several years and most of the A2A aircraft, I still have the 3rd most hours on the C172. There are som many more things to A2A aircraft than one can imagine, and with the new release, the Bonanza, they even stepped up a bit more.

short answer, get the C172 first, see what Accu-Sim can do for your simming experience, and the buy all the rest of their aircraft, just like most of us here have done.
Kind Regards
Tomas

Hi medic and welcome to the forum,

Man, you are in for a treat, every A2A plane is a unique aircraft with it's own individuality, modeled in great detail and to be operated by the manual. A2A team just released Accu-Sim Bonanza V35B this weekend and it's wonderful. Here you will find a passionate and dedicated society in love with aviation and flight Simming.

P.S. Like Thomas, my first A2A aircraft was the Skyhawk 172R.

Hello and welcome,
So you're in to airliners eh? How about piloting something from yesteryear? Great big radial engines, lots of steam gauges, levers, and modest speed just might suit your fancy. Now throw in A2A's Accusim and viola, you have a fantastic experience with each flight. Try the Lockheed Constellation L-049.

I started with the B-17 and P-51 but find the multi-engine large radials are just the bomb.

Cheers
Roger

PS: As with all A2A aircraft I cannot stress enough the importance of reading the manual.

If you are looking for an airliner experience A2A has two: the Stratocruiser and the Constellation.

I have flown the Stratocruiser and can recommend it as excellent. The Constellation is newer. Either of these should give you a wonderful airliner experience that you won't forget. Another large plane is the B-17, and while not an airliner should be similar for those who would prefer a warbird. Watch the various videos for each of the aircraft to see which one you might prefer. The B-17 video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsPjn1L0elw really opened my eyes to what is possible with FSX.

I had just past the 1,000 hour milestone in my B-17 in FSX when the Connie was in the last days of her development. There was the promise of the Stratocruiser getting an Accu-sim update from the things learned with the Connie development. Then the Stratocruiser went on sale and... well, I couldn't afford to NOT buy it :D so I did. Very soon, while still enjoying the B-17, the Connie was released, then P3Dv4 was released and I moved to P3Dv4. I have yet to turn an engine on the Stratocruiser. I suppose I will wait for it in P3Dv4 now and buy it again  .

Still waiting for my cherished B-17 to be released to P3Dv4.

You will not be disappointed with the Connie.

Cheers
Roger
