Directx?

When I try to install Cessna C172 on P3Dv4, I receive the following message:
"An internal system error occurred. Please refer to DXerror.log and DitectX.log on your Windows folder to determine the problem".
Can you, please.help me?

You could post the insides of those files here, so it would be easier to determine the problem. An issue during directX version check perhaps ? Did you interrupt the install in any way or your background programs did maybe ? Also your os version ? Do you have net framework 4 ? Its probably your antivir, turn it off during install.

My dxsetup doesn't work either... doesn't seem to make any issues for me though.

Yes some windows systems have some errors in them that prevent some of the MS direct X installers from running correctly, normally it means you are already updated. We cant do anything about this, as the direct X components of Microsoft not ours, we just execute them.
