Doc wrote "Scott Gentile is in excellent shape!" (he did have an exclamation point too). And I still have "eagle vision." better than 20-15. Just thought I would share this for Lewis :) Oh, and I am happy to report no more finger up the behind

Scott.

Good deal Scott! I was very nervous going into the exam last year and was happy when it was over and that I didn't have any issues.

Now to go back to figure out this video editing thing so I can stitch together my last flight and make something semi workable.

I had an ECG a few weeks ago and the nurse said maybe the worst thing you could say to a patient, "you're in no immediate danger but you'll get the results in a week's time" .

Lewis doesn't need really good eyesight. As long as he can see a Lancaster...................and they are SO big you know.

Congrats Scott. Always nice to have all this in order. How long is the medical for a PPL (I’m assuming that’s your license) valid in the US? In Germany it depends on the age of the applicant. And it doesn’t involve any bending over

I can certainly relate to the finger thing but the last couple times they did not do it. Lost my medical in 2005. Just flight sim for me now and I enjoy it.

I had my first dose of reality about my age not long ago. I’ve always had stigmatism in my right eye, but had 20/20 vision growing up. It seems that’s since dropped to 20/30, and as the muscle hardens, it’s only going to get worse. Sadly, glasses are going to be a must for me, but many pilots fly with them, so it is what it is.

Certainly wouldn’t feel about the glasses. Seems like I know more pilots with corrected vision than not!
