Bonanza

Post by Neon »

Heyo,

Is there any news on the release date for the Beechcraft V35 Bonanza? It's one of my favourite GA planes. Also
any news on what period it's from? Modern? 80's?

Hi,

I don’t think we’ll get a release date until it’s almost there. Two weeks ago Scott posted an update where he said the Bonanza would go into Beta testing soon. So I guess it’ll be a while till we see it. Unfortunately.

As far as period wise there has been some speculation but N40G which can be seen modeled in the preview video is a 1972 V35B. So it’s likely it’ll be a V35B in my opinion.

Happy flying

My guess would be some time over the summer but of course no one is sure. :)

The usual thing is that the manual is posted for download and perhaps a video of the plane is released. Then, within a week, you get your hands on the plane.

So I'll start the guessing game going as to the release date. FlightsimCon in late June.

Any others want to suggest (IE; post a guess) a date??

Cheers,
Mike

I say it'll be out by the time EAA Airventure Oshkosh rolls around in late July

I think either one are very valid guesses. I still hope Mike is right just because that’s the earlier date
I’m sure the release date will be heavily relying on how the beta testing is going. Let’s just hope it is in deed going well!

Is A2A an exhibitor at Oshkosh?

They have been the last couple of years at least. So it’s likely they’ll be there yes.

Neat. I've never been to Oshkosh but plan to go maybe in 2019.

Unfortunately I have never been to Oshkosh either. But that’s by definetly on my bucket list. I don’t think 2019 will work for me though.

Even though I've never been to Oshkosh I've been to every Sun 'n Fun that has happened in my lifetime. We live about a 1.5 hour flight in our Comanche 400 from SNF, so we've been to that one more than KOSH. I hear Oshkosh is huge.

I hope you’re wrong too! But I really don’t think Beta testing takes more then six months does it?

I don't think Beta testing takes any longer than one or two months. So I think July or August are quite likely.

I hope so too. I think for the Connie beta testing tool a bit longer due to difficulties that came up if I remember correctly. Let’s just hope it goes smooth for the Bonanza!
