Indeed... I'm seldom a fan of any specific aircraft type (there is always some biggish issues to complain about!), but PC-12 is as close as I've seen to (in a voice of decapitated android...), a prefect aircraft.

WOW! Thanks for posting that, Marvin-E34.
I've never heard about the Brabazon, and I'm glad I did. Such a fascinating aircraft.
But, hell, that powerplant configuration smells like all kinds of trouble. I thought the Stratocruiser was a complex beast, but this concept is even beyond my fantasy to come up with in the first place. Damn!
Now, for that Accusim Brabazon, Scott?

I can only agree. That complex of an engine / gearbox / propeller design cannot be a good a idea. What a waste of money and time...

It's a monstrously bad idea, but that was an interesting point in aviation history - the transition from the wasteful and complex propliners to the jet age. We A2A-geeks have learned that lesson, flying the 377, and also the Connie. Desperate times, apparently, for them to even let that monstrous design to leave the drawing board.
But how fun would it be to have in a simulator? I'd love to have such a beast in the sim. A COTS Brabazon would be so much fun!
