I haven’t looked at it from this point of view but it makes perfect sense. Sort of what the automotive industry is going trough at the moment with electrifying the car. Only that they have a better guidance now. And more possibilities to study solutions without actually building them.

I’m sure it would be fun. Just imagine those preflight checks

Well to be honest, A2A representation of those birds are of very well balanced planes with super short take off / landing distance, enough fuel to fly all day long and outstanding performance once levelled off (320+kts ground speed with the strat is a decent cruise imho), despite a poor climb rate.
I would not say desperate

Desperate would be the B-36, six turning and four burning

I'm agreeing on this PC-12/Caravan thing. The PC-12 is one of my favorite planes.

If majestic was able to model the dash 8 turbo prop to pretty real standards (as far as I know anyways but I’m not a turbo prop pilot). Then A2A will be able to it as well.

My goodness, guys, but we don't even have the Bonanza yet!

Now that I've said that, a PC-12 or a Caravan or a Texan II (any of these) would be friggin' sweet.

I must admit, I was checking out T-bird pics over the weekend thinking 'wouldn't that be nice'... Don't need anything too obscure.

What fits the specs (but not the climb rate), and what I would really wish for:
A Pilatus PC-6, a PAC 750 XSTOL or a Quest Kodiak. Perfect bush planes, and also reliable paradroppers. But I'd also take a Caravan.. [WINKING FACE]

Having bought the Spit, Cherokee, P-51, and Bonanza in the past few months, and hopefully the P-40 soon, I can wait a while on the secret project. Nooooo hurry.
