Propliners, TWA Transcontinental and the Kangeroo Route

Post by McDonnell-Douglas »

Whilst we are waiting for the development update I thought I would share a few interesting articles I have uncovered during my research.

Moreover, it had occurred to be that I hadn’t posted since 2015. Not due to lack of interest, I’ve been lurking in the shadows so consider this a check in.

For those who have not yet discovered http://www.timetableimages.com/index.htm it is highly recommended. It has a wealth of old airline schedules especially for the Stratocruiser and the Constellation that are particularly useful for recreating the flights.
Apologies if you don't have a 24" monitor.

Start up those engines.

Thanks for this information. I was thinking only today of asking about route pairs for my neglected A2A Constellation. I need to get her back up in the air where she belongs.

Thanks for posting that, Colin. Great stuff just to look at and read. Very interesting to see also the published schedule for the BOAC Liberators.
