No, it's not mine, but I live close to this Hallinportti Museum. That UTI ("Mukelo") has been sitting there for decades.

Well in British English a Fagot is the name for either a type of meatball and a bundle of wood used as kindling, so does this make this Mig a meaty lil thing that is easy to burn!P-51Nut wrote:The Mig 15 is a cool plane, however I have an issue flying a plane nicknamed the "Fagot..." am I the only one??
kidding, relax
Hi guys
Just chipping in a couple of ideas for future projects that I would love to see
We've all had a go at flying the glamorous birds of WW2, the Spitfires, Mustangs, Lancasters and B-17. But how about a pack looking at the less popular, and often forgotten warhorses that served along side the glamour birds, and often did just as well, but without the credit they deserve. Aircraft such as the Hawker Hurricane, Handley-Page Halifax, Curtiss P40 and the likes
The second idea is a look at the Retiered Warhorses, or the Civilian versions of some of the aircraft covered, again, like the Avro Lancastrian (Lancaster based) and the Boeing Stratocruiser (B-29 based). Perhaps even the likes of the Fock-wulf Condor, OK, yes, that was a military aircraft pretending to be a civvie, but they all made names for themselves in the pre and post war periods and it would be nice to see them as models
