Here is a good free WWII FPS game

It's been around for quite a while.The original game(1999) had a lot of faults with
CTD's but this has been corrected.It's been free for quite a while(since 2003).
So if you don't have a WWII type tactical FPS or just want a free one download this when you're not playing flight sims.It's called Hidden and Dangerous(Deluxe).It's the full game BTW.

I got this one from a PC magazine a little while ago.

It took me awhile on the forums to find out how to run the game.

To get rid of the transparent start screen where you have to modify the starting command line. Otherwise the opening sceen with the menu's will be transparent and you will not be able to make any selections.

Add a space after the .exe" in the shortcut command line in the shortcut and add the word safe, the game will now be usable and work. This can be in either the desktop shortcut or the start menu shortcut.

"C:\Program Files\Take2\Hidden and Dangerous Deluxe\bin\hde.exe" safe

Not everyone has this problem, but if you do the above should fix the problem. I think the game has problems with some modern video cards.
