Comanche Flight

Post by bullfox »

I have been giving some thought to flying the Comanche from the southern most tip of South America up to the far end of the Aleutian Islands. I would like some input on the best altitude, prop and mixture settings for maximum range.

And altitude.
Which plugs do you have installed? Which oil? Fairing? Tip tanks? You get the idea.

After you work out those items if you are serious you should work up basic weights and then apply to the airports you plan to visit along the route.

It all starts with a chart.

I found the final three airports in South America I need to use so now I can keep the legs down to 800 miles.
