Will I need to download the visual studio 2013 Redistributable Package before I download the complete package?

I honestly don't remember, it was months ago. I know you have to install the Garmin trainer first. I think the GTN installer might have offered the option to install VS 2013.

I installed the GTN650 earlier in the week during a reinstall.
(I bought the GTN750 first, but the 650 fits more panels, such as the P51 Civilian and the T6)

The installer interrupts the installation halfway to take you to the Garmin Trainer download page.
I don't remember VS being mentioned during the install but if it was then it was automatic.

Thanks for the help. I am installing the software now. It is asking me is I want:
FSX BOXED
FSX STEAM
P3D V3
P3D V4

What is the difference and which option should I choose?

Are you using FSX or Prepar3d?

If FSX, did you install it from DVD (boxed) or from Steam?
If Prepar3d, are you using v3 or the latest, 64-bit v4?

I see on the web site (http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=gtncomplete) that you get both the 650 and the 750 for one price. Looks like you could use the 650 in the Connie and the T-6 and the 750 in the Comanche or the 182. Cool!
