Thanks Scott, it was a lot of fun.

Ah OK, as long as Bill gets what he needs, that the most important thing.

Still, however, I'd be happy to fly out and treat you guys to lunch if we can get it in the calendar. There are some really nice places to eat, that remain open year round.

Scott.

These are some great shots. Thanks for the effort so far, guys. I'm sure more will be required to complete the project, but at least there's enough to evaluate and start it.

Hi Bill,

Truly happy to help - sounds like A2A Scott might make a run when you need it... We probably should have grabbed some more of the homes around the village....

I need to get a better camera and a tripod - I’m sure the pictures would come out better... My first time doing this for anyone else...

I noticed a unique castle on a hill near the airport on Bing Maps - honestly - I’ve never noticed it from the air...

I think the far side of the river has some steam train excursions on the tracks... LOL - just throwing it out there...

Regards,
Scott

I still have to upload my photos, was pretty sick at the end of last week. Not only do they have steam train excursions, I believe they also have a day long training program where you go on to operate the locomotive. Could be mixing up the place though I know it is located in CT.

Just checked the location of the rail station. It is just a hop away.

Hi...

I don’t think Bill comes here often - I’ll ping him on his own forum with a heads up...

Love that pic of the train and steamboat...

Hi Scott,

May I ask who took the picture you posted and how I could get a hold of them. This airport means a lot to myself and a Navy friend of mine and we would like to get a copy of the picture.

Thanks

Should I fly over and take some high quality aerial shots? If so, anything specific you would like me to concentrate on?

Scott

Scottb,

Slightly off topic, but do you still have your slowdowner? I used to teach in Hartzell's airplane in Piqua back when I was younger and sprightlier.
