Good news! That was a very quick find of you guys! Great! Good to know my Comanche will be ready to fly once I install P3D v4.1 (which I plan to do after the Windows 10 Fall update).some1 - A2A wrote:Guys, the reason for this issue is that in one of the latest builds of 4.1 LM has fixed a long standing bug in the SDK (carried over from FSX days), which changed the units used by one of the variables in the sim. We have custom ground handling model for our aircraft, and this broke our steering capability.
The fix is simple and we plan to release a core accusim update in the following days that addresses this issue. In the meantime, if you've already installed 4.1, you can roll back your P3D client to version 4.0.
Bug induced by 4.1 ?

Re: Bug induced by 4.1 ?
Finally!! a rational explanation for this problem. For anyone interested, LM has made the 4.0 client available for download on their website. I was able rollback just the client on a full clean 4.1 install. The steering issue is gone. Once the A2A update is ready I'll change the client back. Thanks some1some1 - A2A wrote:Guys, the reason for this issue is that in one of the latest builds of 4.1 LM has fixed a long standing bug in the SDK (carried over from FSX days), which changed the units used by one of the variables in the sim. What I really cannot understand is :
Didn't Lockheed Martin give developers a release candidate version in order to let them test it with their addons? Every time there is an update developers are catches by surprise with some enexpected reactions of their software. That is amazing!

Re: Bug induced by 4.1 ?
I just posted an update in the main accusim updater here that fixed this bug introduced with P3Dv4.1 on Accu-Sim core aircraft:

Now, what's odd here is, the connie on my PC turns with the old DLL. Does everyone here with the Connie have an issue taxiing?
Scott.

That was the shortest update sequence in the history of A2A! Damned quick in getting it out as well. Cheers Scott.

Well, A2A wizard, "Some1" was the brains behind this fix. I just packed it up and released it.

And it was beautifully packed. Also, it works a treat so let's make some noise for some1. (insert 'yaaaay!' smiley here)

Does this mean that now I have my J-3 and P-40? [edit] I just checked the store at https://a2asimulations.com/store/index. ... d031afcb35 and I don't see any new aircraft for P3D. Oh well...This one A2A Update detects and updates our entire fleet of Accu-Sim aircraft for FSX/P3Dv1-4.

My Connie turned fine as well, Scott. I was a bit confused when others here said theirs didn't. Thanks for the update.Scott - A2A wrote:Now, what's odd here is, the connie on my PC turns with the old DLL. Does everyone here with the Connie have an issue taxiing?

Thank you again for the update. Taxiing works fine now.
The doggone beacon on my Comanche still isn't working, though.
