I would like to petition A2A to produce an Accusim Grumman F8F Bearcat.
The Bearcat is the pinnacle of piston engine fighter development with no
other able to match its 6400 ft/min climb rate produced by the magnificent R2800 2300 hp
radial in the lightweight 7100 lb frame, with unequaled hp/lb and short takeoff carrier
capability, while giving the pilot good cowling plus all-around bubble canopy visibility.
It was the 1946 Blue Angels choice based on its superb aerobatic capability.
The Bearcat has dominated Air Racing for decades not to mention being the holder of the
piston engine world speed record of 528 mph.
If ever a plane worthy of your special talents, please consider its FSX creation.
Thanks,
tttt

That would be nice. RADIAL! I've seen some with modern avionics too.

Having flown the Bearcat (-2) I concur with your assessment of its capabilities. However, to my knowledge we have no plans at this time to do the F8F. Perhaps one of these days.tttt wrote:I would like to petition A2A to produce an Accusim Grumman F8F Bearcat.

That is up for debate. That being said I would love an A2A Beacat.tttt wrote:.
