ctd problem

Post by flashg50 »

Anyone know of a fix on the problem of ctd when you end flight in fsx steam addition? Seems to happen when I use A2A planes. I recently had a major computer crash, and had to do a complete reinstall of everything. Seems to me i remember a fix for this problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Double check your default flight and give us more details about the crash and what recovery you did. Sounds like a potential permissions issue or core sim install issue.

thanks,

Thanks Lewis. The crash was a major hd crash, which corrupted the bios. Had to wipe hd clean and do a complete windows 10 reinstall. The problem I have now is that when I complete a flight, and hit end flight, instead of going back to main menu, it goes to desktop. My flights do get entered into my pilot records. I'm using fsxse. I thought I remember years ago that some people had this problem, and there was a fix. I may be wrong though. Memory isnt that great anymore lol. thanks
