Free P3Dv4 upgrade for existing A2A P3Dv3 customers

Hello Joe and welcome.

Q1: A few hours ago I've bought the C172 and C182 (P3D Professional). I have P3D_V4 in use. Now I noticed, that I can only install the C172. When I fire up the C182 installer I have only the option to install v1, v2 or v3 for P3D. Should I select v3 until the update for P3D_V4 arrives, or do I have to wait for a new installer?
Any hints how to proceed?

Yes, you'll just need to wait a while until the P3D v.4 installer for the 182 is released by A2A. I suspect it won't be a very long wait.

Q2: I've also FSX (Gold edition) in use. For this Sim I also bought A2A's C172, C182, some other planes and my loved Cub J3. Can I buy or transfer it to P3D_V4, or do I have to skip my favourite bushplane? I'd like to leave FSX.

A2A have indicated that they have plans to release (paid) P3D version of at least some of their existing "FSX-only" products. Not sure if/when the Cub will get the P3D treatment though.

Just a quick question. I found today that i have a good discount on a future purchase in the Just Flight store so i'll grab the C172 for V4. After the purchase do I need to ran the AccuSim update just like any other product? Thanks.

no at the date of this post you are all good. The update wont run in P3Dv4 as its not currently needed.

Hi, thanks for the staff to help with p3dv4 support! Very wellcome! I have a question: my default p3dv4 install path is DIFERENT from c:\ and the ADDONS folder is not at c:\ either. That´s because my c: drive is only for S.O. and a few programs due it´s a small SSD.
I installed the c172 in a customized place by me (e:\), changing the file: add-on.xml and pointing to the new location.

Now, i´m about to use the file: Accu-Sim Update 4_13_2017
Will the accu-sim update installer identify my custom c172 install folder automaticaly? Or i need to move all the files again?

Can you guys understand what my question is?

Olá Flávio, pelo que o Lewis diz esse update não vai funcionar na versão 4 do P3D. Eu não instalei e o C172 funciona na perfeição até porque como é uma versão nova já deve estar actualizada. Bons voos.

It is also not needed for P3Dv4. That particular release already includes the latest updates.

I am very happy, that A2A is offering a free upgrade for P3D v4 but I am sorry that I cannot determine, where I find it. The link leads me to the sales page, but I don't want to buy it again. Can you help please.
