So if I read this right... My CUB will be released last as it was released first in FSX?
Gonna be a long wait I'm afraid!

Still looking forward to having my A2A hangar full again!

Forgive my impatience.. but is there an order in the P3D v4 releases as indicated on the first post? For example, should we expect the Piper Cherokee first, the C182 second etc.. Can this mean that the C182 can take some weeks?
I'm really eager to fly my A2A C182, so if it takes too long I may buy the C172 now.

We are currently testing a new installer process.

Ok! Thank you Lewis for the reply. I hope this will not setback the updates for too long. I'd be glad to let us know when there is something close to the horizon :)

We have a new P3Dv4 C172 installer we'd like to send to a handful of willing customers prior to rolling it out to our store and distribution channels. This new installer should allow installing automatically into the default locations and also to custom directories.

Anyone willing and able to test, please PM me and I'll send you an installer to run.

[EDIT]
We now have enough responses so we're good with testers

We had to approve your new registration, so it should be OK. Also, please don't forget to send some proof of ownership with the request so we can avoid back and forth PMs.

Muehlemann the C-182 for P3Dv4 is not out yet. The only aircraft released so far is the 172. Just keep checking back to see when new aircraft have been released for P3Dv4. They have been testing a new installer package it seems as they are trying to streamline the process for customers. Perfection cannot be rushed. 8)

Q1: A few hours ago I've bought the C172 and C182 (P3D Professional). I have P3D_V4 in use. Now I noticed, that I can only install the C172. When I fire up the C182 installer I have only the option to install v1, v2 or v3 for P3D. Should I select v3 until the update for P3D_V4 arrives, or do I have to wait for a new installer?
Any hints how to proceed?

Q2: I've also FSX (Gold edition) in use. For this Sim I also bought A2A's C172, C182, some other planes and my loved Cub J3. Can I buy or transfer it to P3D_V4, or do I have to skip my favourite bushplane? I'd like to leave FSX.

Thanks in advance for any answers.
Joe

Yes, you'll just need to wait a while until the P3D v.4 installer for the 182 is released by A2A. I suspect it won't be a very long wait.

A2A have indicated that they have plans to release (paid) P3D version of at least some of their existing "FSX-only" products. Not sure if/when the Cub will get the P3D treatment though.

Cheers,
Nick
