New Captain of the Ship Aircraft - Connie L049
We've been developing an all new Captain of the Ship airliner in parallel with our existing product line, and will be unveiling this beautiful new aircraft at Flightsimcon (http://flightsimcon.com) this weekend, June 11-12th. This Accu-Sim aircraft is so far along, it's very close to being in beta.
Just like our current Warbirds benefited from the release of our latest Accu-Sim T-6 Texan, our current Boeing 377 Stratocruiser will also benefit from latest technology developed for this new airliner. So to kick off the show, we will be discounting the Accu-Sim Boeing 377 Stratocruiser by 50% for this weekend only.
At the show, A2A will be demonstrating their Accu-Sim Boeing 377 Stratocruiser in depth and also unveiling the new aircraft in development. Private showings are also available if scheduled in advance with A2A.
Here's an FSX screenshot from our own multi talented Michal Krawczyk (Some1) made of the current A2A fleet and the highly anticipated empty space to soon be filled:

Re: New Captain of the Ship Aircraft + 50% off COTS this wee
Awesome news! I had to actually double check the date of this post to make sure I wasn't just looking at an old one. The 377 COTS is still one of my top FS aircraft of all time and brings a smile to my face every time I fly her. I can't wait to see what the new one will be.

Way to go, Scott! Now let the rampant speculation begin
Looking forward to seeing the next masterpiece from the A2A team - and most likely buying it, no matter the number of engines, when it is available

Scott,
How do we make a private showing? Bill Womack and I are headed there this weekend and I would like to set something up for us if possible. Think you might remember me from last year as the guy with the flight sim in the van. Not bring it this year just coming with Bill to be general attendees.

This is AMAZING!!
Looking at the freshly released PMDG DC-6, I am still amazed how in-depth and feature-rich the Strat still is, regarding its age. Updating it to today's standard is one of the best news I could have imagined. Definitvely looking forward to it!

Well my guess is a DC-3 or Connie...
The Stratocruiser and COTS is the only A2A Accusim product I do not currently own... With this news and the very generous sale I may have to get it!

Never saw THAT coming.
Hope it's something short- to medium-haul. But whatever it is, I'm on board for it.
If, that is, I can tear myself away from the Texan...
You guys aren't making this easy, are you?

I really, really, really hope it's a DC-3. Not as interested in the connie, especially considering how similar it is to the Stratocruiser.JoeS475 wrote:Well my guess is a DC-3 or Connie...

But, the typical disclaimer is, "we'll buy and love anything A2A releases"
Literally cannot wait for the announcement!

This is so incredible news that I'm literally dizzy! This means in practice that we get two new airplanes! And the fact that A2A will go back to their Accusim roots is so cool and right!
Can't wait for the announcement!

All the Accusim-planes are in my hangar, but they aren't sitting long enough for their engines to cool much before next flight!

Joe, the Connie was my first thought, too!
While a lot of roumors went aroint the Seminole, my bet would go to a large multi-radial-engined. What would the Connie a reasonable guess.
Cheers and have a good week!
Marco
(P.S.: will have a PA18...or better a L18... off for a trip around some of the German part of the Baltic Sea. This will be great!!)

Wow I wasn't expecting an airliner at all. A2A always does a great job of surprising us. Can't wait to see what it is!
Re: New Captain of the Ship Aircraft + 50% off COTS this wee
I wonder if PMDG only developed the DC6 for XPlane because A2A were developing it for FSX.Just a thought.
Cheers Chris
