Woohoo today i mean yesterday am still up about to go to bed, but anyway i got my big birthday pressie in the form of a CH Throttle Quadrant.

Ive yet to plug the little beastie in and was wondering if theres any tips you guys could give us?

for example is there any settigns i need to change as for the yoke ive actually done nothing but install it and setup in fs9 without using ch software, however i am thinking i might need to use it as i am under the distinct impression that fs9 doesnt like seperate engines being handled differently, i always use to hate the attempting to select different engines for the one throttle lever on the yoke.

Any one also got one and got any tips off best ways for setup in fs9?

cheers a tired
Lewis

PS dont yer hate it when your work isnt night work but isnt evening its that inbetween bit so after a while you like me have a really screwed up body clock and find yourself going to bed the same time as someone on msn who your talking to in the US! [/i]

CH Multi Throttle Set-up

Lewis,

Did you sucessfully get your CH Multi-Throttles set-up? I have the same throttles and I love them. They work great when taxing multi engine tail wheel aircraft like the B-17, R4d/DC-3/C-47, etc. Just alittle differential braking and differential throttles and around the turn she goes! I downloaded a PowerPoint presentation from CH Products that explains how to set up the Throttles, Yoke, and Rudders. I also use FSUIPC to adjust the throttle settings for Max Pwr, Idle, and Rev for my individual airplanes. Because I like to fly the B-17 and B-24 allot I use four of my levers as throttles, one lever for RPM (all four engines), and one lever for mixture (all four engines). This set-up works good for me.

Keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down!
