For all the Piper Cub lovers out there

Post by Piper_EEWL »

Hey guys,

I stumbled across this video on youtube and I thought that some of you might like it too. It's a tribute to the Cub by Piper themselves celebrating their 75th anniversary.

Have fun watching.

Hehe yes that was great. I'm sure it was a lot of fun for the pilot of the Cub and the RC Cub.

Thanks for posting that Sebastian. :) Incidentally, did you catch this recent post in the Cub forum? It links to a 30 minute(ish) documentary showing the construction of Cubs at the Piper factory in Lock Haven, Pennsylvania in 1943. The film is almost as old as the Cub itself, and this certainly shows. I found it fascinating all the same.

Cheers,
Nick
