no after all that i heard the accident was because the Pilot who was to land the 109 noticed that he was a bit to fast and near the half of runway (little grass airport) so he decided a few seconds before touch down to get on full Power for a new landing turn; but perhaps he didn´t know what this big (about 37litres capacity) engine develop a torque when go fast on full throttle; so the light 109 airframe rolls and touched the ground. Fortunately the Engine broke out of the airframe and the Pilot come out the cockpit with a big shock i think. It was one of it´s owner and a expirienced Pilot too but perhaps not on a 109....otherwise this can happen to most planes with powerfull engines and light airframes especially at landing speed.

They hope the great Plane will fly at the End of 2007 !
