Long Hop Leg

Was a fun flight of about 200nm I think. Started with FAC, Terror, and JohnC. About 20nm in Terror got kicked and never returned.

Here I am flying a loose formation with the only American plane I could find.


We ended up landing on a small runway that was a little bit away from a sheer drop. FAC and I landed side by side and waited for the B-17 to make his final apraoch. He came in too hot and too high so he was sweating bullets to stop before the runway ended.



All in all it was a long and enjoyable flight. Thanks guys.

Yes I need to fly those bombers more...my fighter approach didn't hack it

I didn't realize you were doing a tandem landing until I started to slow down on the runway and you coasted by me.

I tried to get Guardsman (my brother) to fly with my call sing so he could do the hop for me because he was going to fly it with you guys any way but he wouldn't. It was a good flight. I didn't think John was going to stop in time on that short runway.Great job guys hopefully I will see you on tonight.
