Spitfire etc and P3D v2.4

Post by Nico081 »

Hi,

maybe it is still discussed here in the forums. I am about to change from FSX to P3D v2.4 only - as soon as my new computer setup is finished. So after hardware modifications there will be a complete new system installation.

What about my accu sim versions of P47, B377COTS, Cub, B17, Spitfire, P40, P51´s that are not available as P3D installer.

1.: Are these products working in P3D without any issues?

2.: Is there something to consider while installation?

3.:How to get the installation path to P3D?

4.: Are there additional things i have to take care of?

Thanks for reply.

You can either use the Estonia Migration tool, or even a free way to do it is to put your FSX.exe into P3D, then your path would be where your P3D is located. All of the A2A planes will work in P3D although no support except for those designed for it. I have the cub and P-51 in P3D and they work just fine and the auto updater finds them and updates them :D

Oh right. I copied the Cub and Spitfire across manually just to have a go in P3D. Hadn't realised I could install directly into the P3D folder.

I have the entire AccuSim fleet in P3D, all work just fine. As TD68 said, just copy your FSX.exe into your P3D directory, the installers will find it.

Thanks a lot for your answers.

It seems my solution will be the simple one. I will put the fsx.exe into P3D main directory.

Kind regards
