First I thought I should only ask how much fuel cost for the GA-aircraft in Norway?(Where I live) Then I got another thought, that it should be interesting to know how much you pay for fuel in Your part of the world(I know the price differ a lot in different part of the world).
So please post here how much you pay for aircraft fuel in at Your airport.
fuel price?
Re: fuel price?
100LL is around 5.70 per gallon at a nearby field using a self service pump. At some fields it goes up to 6.50 with full service from the truck.

Re: fuel price?
Well, last time I checked, here in Finland, 100LL was at around 2.80 Euros per liter. That's about 14.40 USD per gallon. It's probably more by now. Inevitably it will kill most of the last ancient Lycosaurus species still roaming around here. I hope the diesels will finally break through with modern generation airplanes. Thielert quite didn't manage in that.
Re: fuel price?
Thank you for Your answers.
AKar, there you brought up an interesting question, the very little use of diesel engines in aircrafts. I will start a New thread about that question.

Re: fuel price?
Please do. I was about to do the same some time back concerning EPS diesel engine, which seems quite promising, but I didn't after all!

Re: fuel price?
I just checked the prices in Switzerland. Seems to be around the same as in Finland: sFr. 2.94/liter -> US$ 12.43/USG, for flights abroad we still have the possiblity to buy fuel taxfree: sFr. 2.13/liter -> US$ 9.00/USGAKar wrote:Well, last time I checked, here in Finland, 100LL was at around 2.80 Euros per liter. Re: fuel price?
Oskar,
Yeah - I've visited Switzerland last autumn for Axalp, that was unfortunately cancelled. (Hopefully I can make it to Payerne this year!!) General price level seems to be rather similar between Finland and Switzerland, though some things seemed outrageously expensive in der Schweiz, but again some were equally less expensive - importantly, for a vacation trip, the beer was! And overall taxes seemed to be less in Switzerland. As is finely shown by your example!

Re: fuel price?
£1.85/2.30E/$3.10 a litre at my local aerodrome, so that in Church of England is £8.40/$14.10 a UK gallon.
