Looks like the Pilot handled that really well, and totally out of anyones control, it could have ended so differently

My radio call-in would have been:

"Tower, just had a bird strike to the windshield, am in need of a runway to land...

and a clean flight-suit."

Yeah and the pilot was wearing an "Angry Birds" T-Shirt! lol how ironic is that? wow!.

Now this is a bird strike. This was one of the C-130 crews I use to train at the Eastern Regional Flight Simulator.

Pic 1 shows where the eagle hit the plane and entered the cockpit.


Pic 2 shows the eagle on the cockpit floor.


Pic 3 shows the pilot covered in blood and guts.


The crew was very lucky the eagle did not go through one of the windscreens and hit either Pilot or Flight Engineer.
