I think the Aerosoft Beaver and AccuFeel combination is sufficient, they have enough on their plates to keep them busy.

Count me in as well for an Accusim Beaver !

The Aerosoft package is surely nice, but it lacks the main thing: an Accusim engine.
I love the default Beaver with Accufeel, but it has exactely the same problem :)

Beautiful picture, BladderBoy!

The Beaver has quite a tough appearance! The way it looks head on, with the big engine cowling and the split windscreen. Looks like a face.

All the Accusim-planes are in my hangar, but they aren't sitting long enough for their engines to cool much before next flight!

Probably my favorite single-engine plane. Would love to see what A2A would do with it.

The DC3 or another vintage twin might fill the void of quality twins though.

It's interesting to watch how the pilots usually never just shove the trottle forward, but nudge it little by little towards something that looks like 70% (which equals take-off MP on the Beaver at sea level). It would be the easiest thing to overboost this plane if there is that much throttle left unused.

And, again, the sound of that engine! It would be a lovely thing to have an accusimmed Beaver with "accu-sound" in it - I might never shut the engine down. ;-)

By the way - here is someone making use of the "accu-ore" from the Piper Cub to paddle out from the dock. ;-)

DHC-2 Beaver is quite high on my non-warbird wishlist, and at the very of float planes. (Catalina is an interesting flying boat but AeroS has a rather decent one already. I wouldn't mind a better one but DHC-2 needs a decent addon more desperately.)

Of the land planes, I'd definitely want to a DC2/DC3/C47/AC47/LI2/L2D. Those ones currently available are hopelessly overrated. There's a few that are graphically better but bad in flight modeling and procedures. And then there's ones that have better modeling but come with a non-clickable VC or virtual cockpit that looks equally or even more crappy than FSX stock DC-3.

I second that request. I think the Beaver is a great work horse and to see it accusimed would be the ultimate experience!

I agree that FSX is missing a high end SEP bush plane. There is the C185 Bush from Carenado, but it's Carenado... the outside model still looks good, but the rest isn't up to snuff today. The Aerosoft Beaver is getting really old. There is no premium Maule that I know of... the larger Cessnas are also only available from Carenado.
The Cub is nice but too slow if you really want to get places, the Flight Replicas Super Cub is also getting old. The SibWings AN-2 is really nice, that's pretty much the only candidate for the category that can hold its own, together with the A2A Cub, but there's no Ski or Float version of the Antonov, unfortunately.

So yes, an AccuBeaver would be awesome!

Not close to Accu-Sim, but Aerosoft have already announced the intention to release an "Extended" version of their Beaver, brought up to date and with additional functionality.

I've seen that, too, in the Twotter sub forum.

Are there any news on the Beaver since then? If they do it to the standard of the Twotter, I'm happy.

That picture is just perfect in every way.

I would love to see one in Accusim, it would be an instant classic. But to be fair, any bush plane we can get that is at least slightly faster than a C172 will be the biggest thing in FSX yet... especially with all the Orbx sceneries catered to such an aircraft! I'd love to see a C185 done right by A2A, but a Beaver/Otter choice would be ultimate.
