Let's say it isn't an RPM gauge - that brings us to the panel itself; Black, with those shallow angled flanges around the instruments, which seems typical of the late 50 through 60s, hell - I think everyone was making them like that into the 70s as well.

Piper have panels that are made in that way, but doubt that it's exclusive.

it could be this one here: 1959 Piper Comanche 250 "N6229P"

The paint looks very similar and the cockpit seems to be same as the one in Lewis's picture:

What do you think? :)

Huzzah! That's it right there, nice job Sir.

Here again, 1960 Comanche 250;

Don't look at the type of instruments, but the position of the apertures, flanges, and screw.

Yeah like a lot of GA birds built then, the instruments were in various locations depending on its year or if it had any later modifications. Not all Comanches had toe brakes, just one hand brake as seen in Rusty's picture. You really had to plan your turns on taxiways...you couldn't make just make a U turn on a typical small GA runway without needing a turnout. Some models had toebrakes. The trim control was a horizontal crank on the ceiling.

Cheers
TJ

Here is a pic of yours truely some years ago, you can see the panel of N6852P

Looks like it.... :) Known Comanche on the Left...A2A image on right. Looks like their image the plane is on a Lektro tug or something similar. ;)

I've been thoroughly scrutinising your images Killratio, and my conclusion is ...

... they seem entirely legit.
