P-51 Accusim Status

Post by Buzz313th »

Afternoon Scott, congrats on your succesful release of the Accufeel Package.

My intent on this post is not to badger you guys on a release date for the Mustang, but more or less get an idea how the progress of the Stang is going. Just a few questions if you don't mind.

Will the Mustang be the next scheduled release from A2A?

Has it made it to a code freeze yet, or are you guys still adding functionality to the code?

Depending on the answer to the above question, has it made it to Beta yet?

Thanks

I would like to know that too.
As I said I'm probably no longer able to resist and may pick the P-51 up (as well as the MKV Spitfire).
In that regard which of the following is expected first the P-51 or the Spitfire extension?

Agreed with the OP. I don't want to pressure you, as you'll release the P-51 not a moment before it is truly ready (which I love you for); but with the P-40 out, and the best surprise I've had in a while (Accu-Feel) also out, could you let us know A) will the Spit V be out before the Mustang? (I hope not), and B) can you give us a general feel for where the P-51 is right now... % complete-wise, or timeframe/months-wise... even just a vague ball park figure?

I hope the Spit V comes before the P-51. Sorry. We've been waiting for this longer. Since it was to be out with the first patch of the Spit I/II.

Honnestly, while I'm most certainly going to buy the P-51 Accusim as soon as it will be available, I am not really interested in the updates concerning this plane.
The only thing which is really triggering my interest right now are the updates concerning the F-104 and the F-4. Which means, something NEW.
Don't get me wrong, I'll love the P-51 as much as I loved the P-47, the Spit and the P-40. But now I'm really willing to try something else than these Accusimed props...

She is coming along. We have added stores so loading is similar to the Thunderbolt.

Here's a nice, 1680X1050 res unedited shot of the latest maintenance hangar (artwork made by Rob).

Thanks Scott,

So I guess you guys are still coding functionality and if so, I would take it that you guys aren't in beta yet.

Is it at the top of the priority list?

They've actually been working on the 51 for quite some time now. If I were to guess, I would say we could possibly be seeing this beauty out sometime in the Spring.

Thank you A2A for adding the cheat notes to the different oil grades (winter, normal, summer) I seem to always forget which is which and that helps a lot. Thank you for that small little added feature.
