Well, got this one out of my system, finally got to see the 'Big Stick' in person! Its just amazing how massive this aircraft is, standing next to a B-50, they look the same size, when the B-36 is 3 minutes walk from where you're standing! With its wingspan longer than the A380, it has the longest wingspan of any mass-produced aircraft, and is the largest mass-produced piston-driven airplane ever. Amazing such a thing can fly.
And this little bastard, the Mk.17 thermonuclear bomb weighs 42,500lbs, dry.
This would be the pinnacle of A2A development awesomness, six turnin' four burnin' (HINT)

I believe this B-36 may have come from Chanute AFB. If that's true then they chopped about 40' off of the fuselage. I forget why they did it, but it's still a really big airplane.

I'm actually slightly surprised that scott didn't choose a B-36 instead of the B377 as the starting point.
You know, make things really hard at the very beginning.
