WOW! This one is a Super Cub. This has to be the shortest takeoff I have EVER seen! What an amazing bird.

You can take off and land vertically if the wind is strong enough in a cub.

if the wind is right the fiesler storch can takoff backwards

I set FSX to a blizzard in Alaska flying the default cub and when I reduced power to land, I was getting pushed backwards.... But that is one heck of a video nonetheless, and if anyone replicates that takeoff in FSX, Id love to see it!

I've seen Cubs take off vertically, backwards, and (relative to the runway) sideways. :)

They're neat airplanes and are one reason I can't wait to get the A2A one. :)
