Is the accu-sim Fw190 going to contain both the Anton and Dora models? I'm upgrading to FSX, and since the FS9 Butcher Bird and Long Nose Dora don't exactly play nice in FSX, I'd like to know if they'll both be included.

Thanks!

No, a Dora would be a completely different aircraft - similiar to the way we handled these two aircraft for FS9.

Quick question Scott. Over at Sim-Outhouse, you posted this.
I recently had the pleasure of speaking with Mathias of Classics Hangar about current and future projects. During our conversation, we both decided to work on different versions of the Focke Wulf. Classics Hangar develops the FW190A’s and A2A develops the long nose FW190D / TA’s.

We both chose to create these aircraft (from the legendary designer Kurt Tank) not because we felt they were money-makers, but because we are passionate about them. However, our passion is not limited by aircraft choice but by precious manpower. We must choose wisely what aircraft we will invest in. We also must do our best to avoid accidentally developing the same aircraft because having talented people working independently on an identical project makes no sense.

We wish Mathias all the best with his 190’s and 110’s.

Scott.
So this definitely means no Fw190 Anton from A2A? I like the Classic Hangar version, but I believe that A2A's version, with Accu-Sim, would've been much, much better. Looking at both cockpits for example, the A2A version looks remarkably more refined, and just better looking. This is kinda disappointing IMHO.

Would that aircraft that flew in under the veil of darkness be the Phantom?

Lets not forget about the Hellcat!

*starts to cry*

We gonna see any screenshots of the Cub yet??? My summer is boring so far. No new games to play, no updates from any other FSX makers, etc. I was waiting for Rise of Flight, but it got pushed back to the end of this month.

First, sorry for not responding quicker about the FW190. This was a hard decision, but I truly believe is in the best interest of everyone, including us. If this were a more popular bird like a P51 Mustang, then I could see just plowing ahead, but the FW190 as much as we cherish it, sells only a fraction of others. Nobody in this business is in it to get rich, we are in it because aviation is in us. But we have to pay the bills or our products will suffer.

The cockpit we have shown for the FW190A8 is almost identical to the Dora cockpit. The Dora is a great bird, and we will see it Accu-simmed as well. It will be magical like the 377 and P47.

As for the Cub, we are in that same stage just before beta as we were with the P47. This Cub is unlike anything we've ever experienced. As soon as it is in beta, I'll shoot a vid showing many of the new features going into this.

An Accusimmed Dora is a beautiful thing to contemplate...thanks, Scott, and I truly look forward to taking her up. :)

Looking forward to the Dora as well. That being said, I just purchased the Classics-Hangar Fw190, and it is SPECTACULAR!

I'll also bought the Accu-Sim P-47 and Cub as well. Lots of online currency flying around yesterday.
