BOEING B377 preview screenshots

Post by Lewis - A2A »

Hello everyone.

As many are no doubt aware this aircraft has been in development since the dawn of time. There have been up's and downs, setbacks and pull forwards (I don't even know if that's a word!) However with the team working together like never before we have formed and created one of the most realistic simulations of an aircraft ever.

Unlocking all the secrets of FSX and more involving our own in house coding team (Including the boss Scott who's even got his hands dirty with some heavy duty coding) we have brand new never seen before features.

After experiencing the B377 its hard to go back to anything else.

The model is amazing. However, more than the aircraft itself I am interested in the breakthroughs it represents. Is the time coming that the team can share what makes this more of a simulation than, say, the B-17G package?

Here you go Skycat, feature list of sorts

"Number 1 has failed, were coming in hot, flaps down and the co-pilot checks, engineer calls out from behind me, temps way too high, but there's nothing I can do about it now. I need to concentrate, cowl flaps fully open and every other flap the engineer has on the switches, were trailing smoke the passengers are worried. As we cross the threshold the co-pilot calls out the altitude. Bang we hit the ground, and quickly pull back for the reverser's to kick in whilst jamming the brakes with an almighty squeal.

We are down and safe. Next time Ill read the manual, this isn't any ordinary model, this is a simulation."

I'm sure A2A will out do themselves again with this line of airplanes. If it has radial engines then I want it! As a young aircraft mechanic I went to school on the USAF version (KC-97) of the B377 in 1968. I'm really looking forward to this new product line.

Keep the shinny side up and the dirty side down!

Will it be better than the FS9 WOP B-29? I loved that one and flew it around the world twice.

Sheesh that things ugly!
Face only a mother could love.

And been at the pies a bit too much as well.
You need to get that lump of lard on weight watchers pronto.

Seriously though looks aside, I can't wait.
It will be fun to try an airliner that you hand fly rather than program.

Stuntie, its one of the fastest prop liners built if not the fastest believe it of not. I mean once cruising this thing ain't mega numbers off modern stuff.
