So glad there was no flak this time? Great stuff!

A bit of levity?

1. Last time in a Lancaster - nav training before taking over Shackleton flight - near miss - driver stuffed the nose down - Elsan bucket hit roof , inverted & descended upon us. Driver made us complete the sortie. May he rot in hell!!

2. The low runs remind me of my first BIG mistake - authorised low flying along the Tyne - Hurricane - Sunday - chap fishing - me gentleman - pulled up to minimise nuisance - hit 440,000 volt power cables - put village I was billeted in out of power - amongst others - pack your bags, Elkington!!
